It's a lot better than it used to be. But still not as good as the original Trilogy

They're all great all the way up to gears of war for that in my opinion when gears stopped being gears of war. A judgment still has the blood everywhere and a lot of Gore. I love the story. It was really good. I've replayed all of the gears of wars all the way up to judgment over and over again. I love them all. I can't even bring myself to play gears of war 5. It's such a bad game that I just RUclips the story and all the Easter eggs and stuff. I really don't understand the hate for judgment. It is a game that is different and unique for itself for that time of when it released. The visuals are fun too

The game wasn’t all that bad. Also, these last few games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 look damn good. Games like Judgement and GOW3 are a testament of how devs used to squeeze every drop of power out of the hardware they were making a game for and now, we get these 300 GN Call of Duty games and they don’t even are graphically amazing. These games were so optimized and they still look amazing in 2024. Current devs should take note.

I watched a breakdown of this video a last year, and the whole game is designed around the fears women experience in their life. Tangomushi pointed out that Douglas is a stand in for a lot of men teenaged girls, and women experience. I mean I've been followed home by two guys once, it's fucking scary. The feeling people get when seeing him die is just them being salty over the death of their favorite character. Not only that but I'm assuming Heather was going to find herself here, so instead of breaking the illusion of them being a normal family, he just gave it to her and hoped she would use it when she knew what it was. (bc by then he figured Heather would have known everything)

This was my first solo gears experience, and safe to say it’s the reason I love the game series so much. As shitty and as grossly unfair micro transactions amongst and its many gameplay issues at higher difficulty, it still made me love it somehow.

I wouldn't say the turn based strategy game Gears Tactics was a misstep. It was well received and averaged an 8/10, it was just doomed to not sell well because it's so niche.

Dead Money is also straight up broken, an entire intended gameplay style was completely impossible thanks to a coding error. People don't just dislike Dead Money for it's change in gameplay, if anything it's something people would be interested in. But when a large group of people are completely sectioned off and into a gameplay style their whole build just doesn't function into, yeah people aren't gonna be happy. Stealth is broken in dead money, not "not intended", it's broken

playing uncapped on Xenia it really highlights the games qualities. It just sucked at a locked framerate man. It was too fast for fuckin 30 fps on console. I genuinley loved this game i just hate how some modes you only had one chosen primary.

I really liked Judgment. I played the xbox 360 multiplayer demo obsessively until I got the game.

Honestly I'm not ashamed to say I liked Gears of War Judgment, thought it was fun and while some of the machanical changes were not my favorite they weren't bad enough for me to want to stop playing, imo the game is a solid 6.5/10
